ARTIST

Art Giggles, LLC was established in 1990, born from my profound love for the arts. My uncle, Neal Russell, a master artist, significantly influenced my creativity. Each summer, my cousins and I were captivated by his breathtaking murals crafted with charcoal, watercolors, and acrylics. Even after enduring a life-changing experience, his passion for art never wavered.
In 1993, I suffered an injury that limited the mobility of my left hand, preventing me from working on the pottery wheel and stopping my goal of becoming a professional ceramicist. During my recovery, I found that painting became a therapeutic outlet and a source of healing. I am passionate about sharing my instructional gifts and mentoring others facing trauma, mental health challenges, and tough life situations. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to serve as the sole Arts and Humanities Director for a major nonprofit creating multiple arts programs in an area now named NODA Art District. Currently, I hold the position of Art Manager and Curator for Charlotte Douglas International Airport as an administrative officer for the city of Charlotte.
